Derby High students embraced the opportunity of showcasing their talents at Junior Masterchef held at Bury College. The annual event involves a range of Bury Schools whose teams are tasked to cook a main course and a dessert. The Derby’s three teams battled hard, loving every minute of the competition.
Fatima Hassan and Katie Williams team came third with their delightful Crispy spiced chicken fritters served with a full flavour sauce and rice followed by a rich caramel pudding with deep fried banana fritters.
Hopefully all our contestants can build on these skills and go on to achieve even greater culinary achievements.
