Young Chef adventure continues-
The latest installment of the Rotary Young Chef competition adventure featured Jake Hughes and Mariyah Muhammad. At Bolton school they embarked on a tense, two hour session, in which they had to cook a main course and a dessert.
Mariyah battled hard, successfully reaching third out of a strong field of twelve. She impressed the judges with her prawn curry and coffee and walnut cake. The Walnut cake was highly commended by the judges. Her reward is to take her place in the next round and also receive a mentoring session at the Marriott Hotel, with their head chefs, in a bespoke Saturday morning session.
Both our students’ conduct, motivation and attitude was superb. Well done.
