A six-week theatre experience. You will rehearse a scene, learn how to add lighting and sound. Finally, you will select a costume and create a set before you take to the stage for your final performance.

Aims of the course
To stage a live musical performance
To develop creativity, collaboration and team building skills
Skills you will learn
Develop the ability to speak clearly, lucidly and thoughtfully. When you act on stage you are comfortable speaking to large groups of people. Many companies look for this in an individual when hiring.
Being part of a performance takes commitment and motivation.
Performing gives you skills to work cooperatively with others
You will learn how to work under pressure, from learning your lines to making sure you nail a scene. You must stay positive and enthusiastic.
People always try to hire creative thinkers but what they don’t know is problem solving can be a valuable skill that can be learnt in performance.
Performance instils confidence skills within you and changes your “I can’t” to “I can” attitude
